Emma Turner is an Australian textile designer and artist based in Melbourne. She creates expressive, hand-painted and digitally refined designs that celebrate colour, pattern and storytelling. Inspired by her natural surroundings and a lifelong love of Australian flora and fauna, Emma’s work captures the joy and vibrancy of nature in a bold, contemporary style.

Working from her home studio, Emma combines traditional painting techniques such as gouache and watercolour with digital processes to develop richly layered prints for homewares and interiors. Her collections often feature native birds and flowers, exploring themes of place, memory and connection through a maximalist lens.

Emma’s designs have featured across a range of applications including bedding, cushions, rugs and art prints. Through her practice, she aims to bring warmth, vibrancy and individuality into the home with textiles that feel full of life.

When she’s not painting or designing, Emma loves exploring local handmade markets, visiting botanical gardens and collecting inspiration from the colours and textures of the natural world.
